This policy explains how Quote Sprocket handles information when businesses use our service and when their customers submit quote requests.
Information we collect
We collect account and business details such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, organization information, and account preferences. Quote requests may include customer contact details, job descriptions, addresses, answers, photos, messages, estimates, and status history. We also collect technical and usage information such as device, browser, IP address, log, cookie, and product-interaction data.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, create accounts, process quote workflows, send transactional messages, provide support, improve features, prevent abuse, comply with law, and—with separate permission—send product news, offers, or tips.
Email and text choices
Marketing email and text permissions are optional and are not required to create an account. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using its unsubscribe link. You may opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP. We may still send essential service messages, such as security, account, billing, or quote-workflow notices, where allowed.
Business customer data
When a business uses Quote Sprocket to collect a customer’s quote request, that business determines why the request data is collected and how it is used. Quote Sprocket processes that information to provide the service. Customers should contact the relevant business first about its use of their information.
How we share information
We may share information with hosting, database, authentication, payment, analytics, communications, support, and security providers that help operate the service. We may also disclose information for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, a business transaction, or at your direction. We do not sell personal information for money.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, contractual obligations, dispute resolution, and legal requirements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email privacy@quotesprocket.com. We may need to verify your identity.
Children
Quote Sprocket is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
